Yagluth

Yagluth is a giant crawling skeleton in the Plains, the last boss of the original game's progression. Its drop is the key to the Mistlands, and its power makes every elemental fight afterward easier.

Summoning Yagluth

You need 5 Fuling Totems to summon Yagluth. Fulings carry them in their villages in the Plains, usually on totem poles and around campfires. Raiding two or three villages will get you the five you need.

How to Beat Yagluth

Yagluth has no melee bite, it is all ranged elemental damage: a meteor barrage it calls down, a sweeping frost beam from its raised hand, and a fire AoE when you are close.

1. Yagluth resists fire, frost, and lightning, so skip elemental arrows. Use a strong bow with regular Needle arrows or hit it with a black metal weapon.
2. Watch its hands. A glowing hand telegraphs which attack is coming, the beam or the meteors.
3. Keep moving in a wide circle and never stand under the meteor markers.
4. A few raised earth walls give you cover to heal between attacks.

Drops and Reward

Yagluth drops the Yagluth Thing (its trophy is also a drop) which you use to craft items that get you into the Mistlands. Mount the trophy at a sacrificial altar for the power.

The Yagluth power reduces fire, frost, and lightning damage taken. Pop it for the Mistlands Gjall fights and any elemental-heavy encounter.
