Rag Armor is the most basic protection in Valheim, and you start the game wearing the Rag Tunic. The two-piece set is crafted at a Workbench from Leather Scraps and gives almost nothing, so it exists only to bridge you to Leather Armor. Replace it as soon as you have hide to spare.
