Death & Tombstone

When you die in valheim you drop a tombstone holding all your gear and inventory, and it persists so a second death on the way back will not destroy the first grave. Death also costs you roughly 5% of every skill level, but a 10-minute No Skill Drain buff stops repeated deaths from compounding the loss. Reclaiming your tombstone auto-returns your items and grants the Corpse Run buff for 50 seconds to help you escape danger.
