Hens are the adult form of the Chicken, a tameable bird introduced with the Ashlands update. Unlike other tames they do not breed directly: a tamed Hen lays an Egg, which you place near a fire under a roof to hatch into a Chicken that grows into a new Hen. Feed them dandelion, barley, or seeds to keep them laying, giving a steady supply of eggs and feathers.
