Lox

The Lox is a huge shaggy beast that roams the Plains. Wild ones are slow but devastating, so do not melee one without good armor.

Taming and Riding

Feed a Lox Barley or Cloudberries, back off, and repeat until it is tamed. Tamed Lox can be saddled and ridden, breed for a herd, and make brutal base defenders.

Lox Meat for the excellent Lox Meat Pie, and Lox Pelt for capes and Plains-tier building pieces.
