Crossbows (Skill)

Crossbows is a separate skill from Bows, leveling as you land hits with weapons like the Arbalest. A higher level raises crossbow damage and speeds up the reload between shots, which is normally crossbows' biggest weakness compared to a bow.

Why It Matters

Crossbows hit much harder per shot than bows but reload far slower, so the skill matters most to players who commit to a crossbow as their main ranged weapon rather than switching between the two. Splitting time between Bows and Crossbows levels both more slowly than focusing on one.
