Poison Arrows apply a poison damage-over-time on top of their pierce, crafted from Obsidian and Ooze dropped by Swamp Blobs. The lingering poison is great for whittling down high-health targets while you reposition. Just remember poison does nothing to the undead Skeletons and Draugr that resist it.
