Blocking (Skill)

Blocking levels up every time you absorb a hit with a raised shield, and a higher level pushes your effective block armor well past a shield's base rating while also making you harder to stagger. It is the skill that turns "tank the hit and swing back" from a risky habit into a reliable strategy.

Why It Matters

A maxed Blocking skill is often the difference between comfortably no-hit tanking a boss's attacks and getting staggered into a combo, which is why most melee and shield builds prioritize it early.
