Flametal Armor is the heavy Ashlands plate set and currently has the highest armor value in Valheim, crafted and upgraded at the Black Forge from Flametal. Its 40% Heat resistance reduces Lava damage and extends your safe time in boiling water, though it does not stop fire damage or burning. It upgrades to quality level 3.
