Valheim has three main boats: the cheap Raft, the nimble 4-slot Karve, and the 18-slot Longship for serious cargo and exploration. Wind direction is central to sailing: a tailwind is fast, while going directly upwind is slow and forces you to tack in a zigzag. The Moder Forsaken Power gives a constant tailwind in whatever direction you point, turning long ocean crossings from a chore into a sprint.
