The Workbench is the first station you place, built from 10 Wood with the Hammer. It unlocks basic crafting and free repairs, and its 20-meter radius is where most building must happen. It only works under a roof with about 70% cover, and it upgrades by placing items like a Chopping Block and Tanning Rack beside it.
