The Antler Pickaxe is your first pickaxe, crafted at a Workbench from a Hard Antler that Eikthyr drops (three per kill). It mines Stone, Copper, Tin, and Muddy scrap piles, which is exactly what you need to enter the Bronze age. Killing the first boss is effectively the gate to all mining.
