Growths are immobile gelatinous piles of sentient tar that ring the Tar Pits of the Plains, usually four or more to a pit. Like Blobs they belch poisonous black gas, so attack from range or with reach and keep Poison Resistance mead up. They drop Tar for dark-wood building and upgraded crafting stations.
