Taming in valheim works by dropping an animal's preferred food nearby and staying close without crowding it until its taming meter fills, for example mushrooms and berries for Boars or raw meat for Wolves. Lox and the Ashlands Asksvin can also be tamed, while Hens hatch already tame from warmed eggs. Two tamed animals that are fed, happy, and given enough space will breed offspring, letting you farm meat, hide, and eggs renewably. The Brew of Animal Whispers halves taming time.
