Troll Armor is the standout early set, crafted from the Troll Hide you get killing Trolls in the Black Forest.
Why It Is Good
It is light, so it barely slows you down, and it gives a sneak bonus that makes bow ambushes and dungeon-clearing much easier. Many players skip Bronze armor entirely and run Troll hide straight into the Swamp.
Intel
The full set bonus rewards wearing all three pieces, so do not mix it with Bronze if you want the sneak boost.
