Chitin is mined from the Abyssal Barnacles that cover Leviathans, the huge whale-like islands floating in the Ocean. It crafts the Abyssal Harpoon and the Abyssal Razor knife. Mine fast: hitting the barnacles eventually makes the Leviathan dive and sink whatever you placed on it.
