Ancient Seeds are the key to the second boss. You need 3 of them to summon The Elder.
Where They Drop
They drop from Greydwarf Brutes and Shamans, and you will almost always find them guarding the spawner nests inside Black Forest Burial Chambers. Clearing a couple of chambers usually gets you all three plus a pile of Surtling Cores.
Intel
Brutes and Shamans do not spawn from every nest, so if you are short, hunt the larger Greydwarf packs at night.
