The Feather Cape grants Feather Fall, removing fall damage and capping your fall speed at 5 m/s so you can glide down the cliffs of the Mistlands. It also gives frost resistance, but in exchange you take double fire damage, so swap it off in the Ashlands. Sprinting while gliding steers your angle at the cost of stamina.
