Black Metal

Black Metal is the Plains weapon metal. Unlike earlier metals it does not come from mining: you collect Black Metal Scrap from Fulings and their villages, then smelt it in a Blast Furnace.

Using It

Black Metal forges the strongest physical weapons before the Mistlands: the Blackmetal Sword, Atgeir, Axe, and Knife, plus the Black Metal Shield. It is the gear that carries you through the Plains and to Yagluth.
