Weapon Tiers
Every Dragonwilds weapon tier from Stone to Dragon, and which weapon is actually best at the top.

Weapons climb the RuneScape material ladder, and most categories carry the whole way:

The best weapon is not the highest tier. The Dragon Scimitar is the only power 9 weapon in the game and it does 102 to 215 damage, but the power 8 Rune Greataxe does 196 to 343. Two-handed weapons simply hit harder, so the scimitar's case is speed and keeping a hand free to block, not raw numbers.
The Dragon Scimitar is also not craftable. It comes out of the Queenslayer's Reward Pack, which means killing Kuldra. It is a trophy for finishing the game, not a tool for finishing it.
Ranged tops out at power 8: the Magic Longbow at 118 damage or the Magic Shortbow at 78 for the faster draw. Magic gained the Ancestral wand in 1.0.
Practical advice: carry a Crush option. The Black Knight Titan, Garou King and Zogres are all weak to it, and a mace or warhammer in the second slot saves more time than one extra tier on your main.
