The southern territories, and where every character begins. Three sub-areas: Temple Woods, Bramblemead Valley and the Whispering Swamp.
This was the first part of Ashenfall humans settled, and the ruins you gather your first ash logs and stones around are what is left of that. Goblins are the standing threat, alongside amalgamated creatures and what remains of the human population.
The Whispering Swamp has history worth knowing: during the Human-Garou War it was the buffer between the two sides, which is why it is still treacherous ground rather than simply wet ground. It also holds Abyssal Demons, which are power 4 and will end an underprepared run.
Three of the ten vaults are here, all level 2: Crasorak Kara in Temple Woods, Thishepen Kara in Bramblemead Valley, Vertentis Kara in the Whispering Swamp. Clear them before pushing north. They are the cheapest blueprints in the game.
