Ship Combat
How to win Windrose naval fights with positioning, broadsides, repairs, and boarding decisions.

- Main tools
- Cannons, repairs, boarding
- Best role
- Co-op coordination
Ship combat is where Windrose separates itself from most survival games. Winning is less about charging in and more about lining up damage, managing repairs, and deciding when boarding is worth the risk.
Basic Fight Flow
Approach at an angle, line up cannon pressure, avoid taking a full broadside, then reassess. If the enemy is weakened and your crew is healthy, boarding can finish the fight. If your ship is damaged, disengage and repair first.
Co-op Tip
Assign roles before the fight starts. One player pilots, one repairs, one handles cannons, and one prepares for boarding. Clear roles beat louder callouts.
