Melee Weapons

Melee weapons are the safest default for boarding and cramped island fights. Even if you prefer firearms, you need a close-range answer when enemies rush.

Weapon Choice

Use the weapon whose timing you can actually control. A slightly weaker weapon you understand is better than a stronger one that gets you hit every swing.

Upgrade Priority

Upgrade melee power before pushing enemy camps or boarding more dangerous ships.
