Custom World Settings
How to think about Windrose custom settings for enemy health, damage, ship difficulty, and casual co-op worlds.

- Use case
- Difficulty tuning
- Best for
- Co-op groups
Windrose includes customizable world settings that can make a world friendlier, harsher, or more relaxed. These settings are especially useful for groups with mixed experience levels.
What To Tune
Start with enemy health, enemy damage, ship damage, and ship durability. If your crew is more interested in exploration and building, lower pressure slightly. If naval combat feels too easy, raise ship danger before raising every land enemy.
Best Practice
Make one change at a time and play a full session before changing more. Too many difficulty edits at once make it hard to tell what improved the world and what made it worse.
