Kaeya is a 4-star Cryo sword unit and an early-game starter. His Skill deals frontal Cryo damage and his Burst releases icicles that apply Cryo around him. He serves as a budget Cryo applicator for Freeze and Melt teams.

Top Weapons: Mistsplitter aside, use Haran Geppaku Futsu, The Black Sword, or 4-star Favonius Sword / Sacrificial Sword / Festering Desire for energy and CRIT. Artifact Set: 4pc Blizzard Strayer in freeze teams, or 4pc Noblesse Oblige as a burst support. Main Stats: Sands ATK% or ER, Goblet Cryo DMG, Circlet CRIT. Substats: CRIT Rate/DMG > ATK% > Energy Recharge.

Best Teams

Freeze / Cryo enabler with a Hydro applier like Mona or Xingqiu, an Anemo for grouping, and a Cryo DPS. Kaeya provides off-field Cryo and energy.
