Ganyu

Ganyu is a ranged Cryo DPS built around her aimed Charged Attack. Her second-stage Frostflake Arrow blooms into an AoE burst, and with the right setup she chains these shots for sustained, high-multiplier Cryo damage. She enables permanent Cryo aura for reactions.

How to Play

Run her in a Freeze team with a Hydro applicator and an Anemo grouper, or in a melt comp with a Pyro enabler. She is a long-standing strong pick on the Genshin tier list.

Best Build

Top Weapons: Amos' Bow (signature), Aqua Simulacra, Hamayumi. Artifact Set: Wanderer's Troupe for Melt, or Blizzard Strayer in Freeze teams. Main Stats: ATK% Sands / Cryo DMG Goblet / CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG Circlet. Substats: CRIT Rate/DMG, ATK%, EM (Melt).

Best Teams

1. Melt: Ganyu + Bennett + Xiangling + Zhongli.
2. Freeze: Ganyu + Kamisato Ayaka + Kaedehara Kazuha + Venti.

Kit Overview

• Skill drops a Cryo flower taunt that lets her reposition and gather Charged Attacks.
• Burst rains an AoE Cryo storm dealing continuous off-field damage.
• Core loop: a ranged carry spamming Frostflake Arrow charged shots for high single-target and AoE DMG.

Pros and Cons

Pros: High charged-shot DMG, strong in both Melt and Freeze, good range. Cons: Stationary charge-up playstyle, vulnerable to interruption without a shield.
