Tadpole

The Tadpole is the first vehicle you build and the workhorse of the current Early Access build, a cheap, versatile, heavily customizable single-seat submersible. You unlock it by scanning three Tadpole fragments out in the world, then fabricate it from Titanium Ingots, Glass, a System Chip, and a Power Cell.

The Tadpole is the centerpiece of the build because of how far you can reconfigure it. It swaps between chassis variants for different jobs and accepts a stack of upgrade modules, so the same hull can be your fast scout one dive and your hauler the next.
