Subnautica 2's 51 creatures are organized into tiers that tell you how dangerous each one is. Leviathans sit at the top, then Predator apex carnivores like the Marrowbreach, Carnivore mid-size hunters, Herbivore grazers, and Passive fauna that ignore you. Reading a creature's tier at a glance is the difference between a safe dive and a quick death.
