Glass is a refined material, not a raw pickup: you craft it from two Quartz at the Fabricator. It goes into habitat windows and rooms, vehicle hulls including the Tadpole, and electronics like batteries and system chips. Keep a few stacked, because almost any glass-walled build or sub will demand it.
