Collector Leviathan

The Collector is one of the two named leviathans in the Subnautica 2 Early Access build, an enormous cephalopod predator. It broadcasts complex sonar patterns and feeds on hard-shelled prey, so you will often hear it before you see it.

How to Survive It

Like all Subnautica leviathans, the answer is avoidance, not combat. Listen for its sonar, keep cover and terrain between you and it, and do not linger in open water near its hunting grounds. A vehicle's speed and a clear escape route matter far more than any weapon.
