Lead is mined from galena and turns up in deeper, barer canyons, clustered together once you stray from the shallows. Collecting it for the first time unlocks the recipe for Sugar of Saturn. It is one of the rarer minerals you start hunting for advanced components, alongside Silver and Gold.
