If you play more than one gacha, this summer is a budgeting nightmare. Five major live-service games are all landing patches in the same eight-week stretch, several of them aimed squarely at your summer-alt weakness, and the marketing is designed so each one feels like the banner you cannot miss. You can miss most of them. What you cannot do is walk in without a map.
So here is the map. One calendar, five games, everything cross-referenced against our individual coverage, with a hard line drawn between what is confirmed and what is a datamine wearing a countdown. Use it to pick your two or three real pulls for the season and let the rest go guilt-free.

What is actually locked
Only a handful of these dates are stamped, and it is worth knowing which ones you can plan hard around.
- Honkai: Star Rail 4.4 is live now. Himeko Nova and the Fate crossover are out, and the 4.4 team-building breakdown plus the Fate collab event guide cover what to grab first. 4.5 is officially revealed with summer alts Robin Summeretto and Aventurine Waveflair, detailed in our 4.5 preview.
- Zenless Zone Zero 3.1 drops July 29. The anniversary patch is confirmed, including a free S-Rank selector and a stack of login rewards. The special program recap has the codes and event details.
- Genshin 7.0 opens Snezhnaya on August 12. The final nation, a Cryo reaction overhaul, and three launch units, all confirmed. See the 7.0 roster and Stellar Reactions breakdown.
- Reverse: 1999's Atomic Heart collab is live. The Twins, the first dual-Afflatus unit, are free right now. Details in the collab reveal breakdown.
- Wuthering Waves 3.6 is on the near horizon. The 3.6 release-date and Mengzhou reveal has what is confirmed.
What is still a leak
Everything past the next confirmed patch for each game is datamine-tier. That includes ZZZ 3.2 with Claret and Roxy, HSR 4.6's Elation wave and Sugilite, Genshin 7.0's Phase 2 reruns, and Reverse: 1999's Version 3.9. The pattern in each is more reliable than the specific names; treat the units as placeholders until official drip marketing or a preview stream locks them in.
How to survive a five-game summer
The mistake is treating every game's "must-pull" as literally must-pull. It is not. Here is the triage that keeps your accounts healthy and your wallet closed.
- Rank your games, not your banners. Decide which one or two games you actually care about this season and let the others coast on free income. You do not owe every account a pull.
- Match spend to confirmation. Never pre-spend for a leak. Money goes to confirmed banners for characters you have already decided you want. Robin Summeretto is revealed; Sugilite is a rumor. Budget accordingly.
- Harvest free income everywhere. Every game on this list has codes, events, and endgame currency stacking right now. Even on accounts you are not spending on, logging in to farm the reserve costs nothing and buys options later.
- Skip the summer alts you are neutral on. Alt-version banners are the season's biggest wallet trap and the easiest skip. We wrote about why the alt-version economy is engineered to feel essential; a costume is not a new character.
- Verify at the stream, decide at the banner. Kits and dates are only real after the official program. Plan with this calendar, commit at drip marketing.
The bottom line
Summer 2026 is stacked because publishers know the season sells, and five overlapping calendars is not an accident. The players who come out of it happy are not the ones who pulled on everything; they are the ones who picked their two banners in July and spent the rest of the season farming free Jade, Polychromes, Primogems, and Clear Drops for exactly those. Bookmark this page, we refresh it as each preview stream lands, and cross-check the ZZZ, HSR, Genshin, and Reverse: 1999 tier lists before you commit a single pull.
