Reverse: 1999 Tier List3.8

Reverse: 1999 is built around team archetypes, not raw stats, so this board ranks Arcanists by how much they raise a team's ceiling in endgame content like Limbo and Mane's Bulletin. It is checked against Global Version 3.8 and refreshed as new Arcanists arrive. Every pick links to its full wiki entry, and the standard build priority is one meta DPS, then a generalist buffer, then a sustain unit.

S

Meta

Beryl

Follow-up hypercarry who anchors the Lingering Glow archetype, stacking Halo and Burn to fuel free nuke procs.

Brume

High single-target burst carry of the Dynamo archetype, scaling off Thermoelectric stacks.

Liang Yue

Star hypercarry whose Euphoria upgrade turned her into a premier team-wide buff engine.

Nautika

Spirit carry that converts healing into damage for very consistent output across modes.

Ramona

Newest carry and the dedicated main DPS the Poison and affliction comp was missing.

Isolde

Burn enabler that shreds DEF and applies afterburn, the core partner for Beryl Burn teams.

Lorentz Butterfly

Support who raises Burn caps, grants team-wide Lingering Glow, and reprints incantations for free.

Paper Heron

Enables Plant Impromptu rotations with strong recurring damage and buffs.

Charon

Spirit-team damage amplifier and key enabler for top carries.

Flutterpage

Premier Star-team buffer and damage amplifier.

Tooth Fairy

Marsha

Kiperina

Star-team healer and sustain anchor.

Tuesday

5-star Spirit-team buffer that punches well above its rarity.

A

Strong

Everecho

Mineral Conduit healer and the 3.8 Phase 1 headliner. A sustain pull, not a damage one: the upgrade if a 5-star has been holding your Conduit core together. New arrival, so placement is provisional.

Cornerstone

Mineral Reality carry built as the main DPS for Riposte teams, taking 3.8 Phase 2. The damage half of the version, and the one to save for if you can only take one.

Rhiannon

Beast Mental Support and All-Rounder from 3.7 Phase 1, despite a trailer that read like a burst carry. Flexible rather than ceiling-raising.

Ms. Stranger

Mineral Mental DPS from 3.7 Phase 2, built around an incantation that starts locked and has to travel the Spelldock, so her output is conditional on the rotation going right. Her own wiki entry is still PARTIAL.

Spathodea

Reality-warping single-target carry with a high damage ceiling.

Recoleta

High single-target reality-damage carry.

Corvus

Strong sustained Intellect damage dealer.

Hissabeth

Plant carry with strong scaling and control.

Mercuria

Spirit-team amplifier and sub-carry.

Anjo Nala

Feeds free Ultimates, brutal alongside high-frequency or Extra-Action carries.

Barcarola

Star-team damage support.

Ulrich

Flexible Intellect amplifier and sub-DPS.

Sentinel

Mineral damage support with Bloodtithe synergy.

Willow

Plant damage support and poison sub-DPS.

Lopera

Strong universal buffer that fits many teams.

An-an Lee

5-star generalist that boosts party damage and cuts damage taken, fits nearly any team.

Getian

Beast-team buffer and debuffer.

Druvis III

Plant control unit and buffer.

Kakania

Alternate premier healer and sustain anchor.

Igor

Recent Beast single-target carry.

Lucy

Efficient 5-star Intellect damage unit.

Medicine Pocket

Durable healer with debuff and control utility.

Vila

Plant sustain unit with healing and cleanse.

Mineral buffer and Nasty Wound enabler.

Barbara

Budget 5-star healer with shields.

Sotheby

Older Plant poison carry, now off-meta but still functional.

Yenisei

Reliable budget 5-star healer.

C

Situational / Budget

Lilya

Early single-target carry, outscaled by newer units.

Shamane

Budget DEF-shred and damage-taken debuffer, useful enabler after his buff.

Necrologist

Niche 5-star summon support.

Early-game generalist buffer that falls off in endgame.
