Short answer: Ms. Stranger is a 6-Star Mineral Arcanist dealing Mental damage, and her entire kit is one card. She debuted on 3 September 2026 in the second half of Version 3.7, and her rate-up channel, Beneath the Guise of Her Cocoon, closed on 24 September, so she is a Dispenser target now rather than a pull.
A Moth to a Flame
Her special incantation starts the battle locked at the leftmost hand position, where it cannot be used or moved. It unlocks once every card to its right has been played, discarded through Tuning, or removed by an ally effect, and she gains Moxie at the start of the next turn.
While it waits, it collects. Allies playing cards feed it four separate wing types, up to four stacks each, which raise its single-target multiplier, its target count, its crit rate and might, or its crit damage. A fully fed card is an order of magnitude above its base.
That shape is what makes her a team-dependent unit rather than a plug-in carry. Her ceiling is set by what the other three slots do before she fires, not by her own stat sheet.
Her other cards
Cocoon Breaker is single-target Mental damage whose effect changes depending on whether you cast it to the left or the right of the special card. Phototactic Instinct hits all enemies and applies a damage-reduction debuff for three rounds. Her Ultimate cleanses her own debuffs and banks a stack that later fires a bonus copy of the special card.
Being Mineral, she loses to Plant and beats Beast on the Afflatus wheel, which puts her and Rhiannon on opposite sides of the same triangle.
Verification: her rarity, Afflatus, damage type, debut and banner window are confirmed from Bluepoch's 3rd Anniversary Phase 2 announcement and our own 3.8 version coverage. The per-stack multipliers and skill percentages come from third-party build guides rather than a primary source, so the kit description above is kept qualitative on purpose.
