Mistfall Hunter is PvPvE: every run mixes environmental and AI threats with rival Gyldhunters who can ambush and loot you. That blend is what makes extraction tense, because the biggest danger is often another player rather than a monster.

Players can choose to fight, avoid, or ambush each other, and a clean kill on another hunter can hand you their entire haul.
