A first-run guide to Mistfall Hunter: pick a class, learn the extraction loop, and escape with your loot instead of feeding it to other hunters.
Mistfall Hunter is a dark-fantasy PvPvE extraction ARPG. You drop into Gyldenmist-laden ruins as a Gyldhunter, fight corrupted enemies and rival players, gather loot, then find a way to extract before you die and lose it all.
First Priorities
Pick a class that fits how you want to fight, learn the weapon set you chose rather than swapping around, and treat your first runs as scouting. The core tension is risk versus greed: every extra fight is more loot but also more chances to die. If you are playing alone, note that Brandrgarde has had a proper Solo Mode since September 3, 2026.
What To Learn Early
The systems that matter most up front are the extraction loop, dual weapon stances, and how PvPvE mixes other hunters into every run. If you play with friends, co-op supports up to three.
