A Stunner does not top a damage chart, and that is exactly why players undervalue the seat until a clear stalls at 80 percent with the timer bleeding out. Roxy is built to fix that seat. She is the new Wind Stun Agent from Flint Workshop, headlining Version 3.2 Phase 2 on September 30, and her entire job is to fill an enemy's Daze bar fast, hold the Stun open a beat longer, and hand that window to a front-line carry, above all the new Armorer, Claret Flint.
Correction, September 17, 2026. This guide originally told you to skip CRIT on Roxy, because that is true of almost every Stunner in the game. It is not true of her, and the published build data says so plainly: her Disc 4 main stat is CRIT Rate, and the target is 100%. If you farmed her a set off the earlier version of this page, the Disc 4 is the piece to redo. What changed is not the game, it is that her numbers are now public and we checked them instead of reasoning from the role.
Her kit was shown at the August 28 Special Program and her build sheet has since been published by Icy Veins (page updated September 8, 2026) and zzz-build.com. She is still unreleased, so everything below is pre-launch data that can move with her live tuning; where the sources disagree, this page says so rather than picking for you. If you have never built a Stunner before, the Stun, Daze, and Stagger guide is the mechanic underneath everything that follows.
What Roxy is for
Roxy is not a carry and you should not try to build her like one. She is a window-opener. Read her through three facts and the rest of the sheet writes itself:
- She builds Daze, not damage. Her value is measured in how quickly she fills the Daze bar and triggers a Stun, and in how much she stretches that Stun window and its damage bonus. A Stunner who Dazes a hair faster gives your carry a longer runway every single rotation.
- She is Wind, and she plays off the front line. Unlike a swap-in Stunner who taps and leaves, Roxy is tuned to stay engaged, open the window, then hand the field cleanly to the carry who cashes it in. That makes her rhythm feel more like a duet than a hand-off.
- She was designed as Claret's partner. Flint Workshop is a package. Roxy opens the Stun, Claret holds the line and spends her Gash into Maim inside it. If you are pulling one, understand you are half-building a team.
Why her stat sheet breaks the Stunner template
Most Stunners are an Impact stick with an Energy budget. Roxy is not, and the reason sits in her Core Passive, First Embrace of the Fevered Night, which does two conversions at once: it turns her Energy Regen into ATK and Impact, and it turns her own CRIT Rate into CRIT DMG distributed to the squad. So every point of CRIT Rate on her is not personal damage she barely deals, it is a buff line on your carry. That is why she is the rare Stunner who main-stats CRIT Rate.
| Priority | Stat | Why |
|---|---|---|
| First | CRIT Rate, to 100% | Feeds the squad CRIT DMG distribution. Her signature alone supplies 24% to 32% of it. |
| First | Energy Regen | Converted into ATK and Impact by her Core Passive, and it keeps the EX Special and Ultimate that spike Daze online. Both sources say to maximise it. |
| Second | ATK% or Wind DMG | The Disc 5 slot. Real but subordinate to the two above. |
| Incidental | Impact | Still the stat that fills the Daze bar, but on Roxy it arrives through her W-Engine, her disc effects, and the Energy conversion rather than through a main stat you farm for. |
Substat priority is where the two sources part company by a hair: Icy Veins runs CRIT Rate > ATK% > PEN > ATK, zzz-build.com runs CRIT Rate > CRIT DMG > ATK%. Both open with CRIT Rate, which is the part that matters, and the disagreement below it is small enough that a single good roll decides it. Read the Drive Disc substat guide for how rolls work, then stop at CRIT Rate.
The exact conversion rates on that Core Passive are NEEDS_REVIEW: neither source published the multipliers, and this page will not invent them. What is confirmed is the direction of both conversions.
W-Engine: Crimson Moon Casket, and what to use instead
Her signature is Crimson Moon Casket, and it is built for the conversions above rather than for raw Daze:
| Refinement | CRIT Rate | Wind RES ignored |
|---|---|---|
| R1 | 24% | 15% |
| R2 | 26% | 17.3% |
| R3 | 28% | 19.5% |
| R4 | 30% | 21.8% |
| R5 | 32% | 24% |
It carries Energy Regen as its main stat, which is the other half of her Core Passive, so the engine feeds both conversions from one slot. That is unusually tidy, and it is the argument for her signature being closer to mandatory than most Stunner engines are.
If you skip it, the fallbacks are named rather than vague: Steam Oven is the best free-to-play option and scales with energy accumulation, and Hellfire Gears supplies passive energy regeneration while she is off-field. Yesterday Calls and Precious Fossilized Core also appear on the alternatives list. Note what these share: they are Energy engines, not Impact engines. Fundamentals on how engines and discs work are in the Drive Discs and W-Engines guide.
Drive Discs, and the 4-piece nobody agrees on
Main stats are settled across both sources:
| Slot | Main stat |
|---|---|
| Disc 4 | CRIT Rate |
| Disc 5 | ATK% or Wind DMG |
| Disc 6 | Energy Regen |
The 4-piece is not settled, and the split is worth understanding rather than averaging away, because it is not a disagreement about Roxy. It is a disagreement about her team:
| 4-piece | When it is right |
|---|---|
| Swing Jazz | The general answer, and the one most published builds lead with, paired with a 2-piece Moonlight Lullaby |
| King of the Summit | Icy Veins' pick when Roxy's carry is an Attacker. It wants her above 50% CRIT Rate, which she clears anyway |
| Astral Voice | Icy Veins' pick when Roxy's carry is an Armorer |
Here is the part that matters for anyone reading this site: the team we have been selling you is an Armorer team. Claret Flint is the game's first Armorer, and Roxy plus Claret is the Flint Workshop pairing 3.2 is built around. So if Claret is your carry, the generic "4-piece Swing Jazz" recommendation is aimed at a team you are not running, and Astral Voice is the indicated set. If you are slotting Roxy in front of an Attack carry instead, King of the Summit is the one.
Treat the 4-piece as NEEDS_REVIEW until her channel opens on September 30 and live testing settles it. If you are farming ahead of that, farm the Disc 4 CRIT Rate and Disc 6 Energy Regen pieces, because those hold whichever 4-piece wins, and hold off on committing a full set.
Rotation: open the window, then get out of the way
The Stunner loop is short and its timing is the whole skill:
- Build Daze. Open with Roxy's Basic and dash attacks to load the Daze bar, weaving her EX Special the moment you have the Energy for its bigger Daze spike.
- Trigger the Stun. Push the Daze bar to full to trigger the Stun, the window of amplified damage your carry exists to hit into. Roxy's kit is tuned to extend how long that window stays open.
- Hand off cleanly. Swap to your carry, Claret or any Attack Agent, and let them spend their biggest hits inside the Stun. This is the entire payoff of the seat.
- Rebuild during the lull. As the Stun closes, Roxy rotates back in to reload Daze for the next window. A good Stunner keeps that cadence so tight the enemy is almost never un-Dazed for long.
Get the timing right and Roxy is invisible on the damage log and responsible for most of the clear. That is the job.
Best teams for Roxy
Roxy's whole reason to exist is the front-line carry she opens for, so her teams are built around who cashes the window.
- Roxy + Claret + Rina (the Flint Workshop core). The pairing the patch is selling you, and the third seat both sources name is Rina. Roxy opens the Stun, Claret holds the line and detonates Maim inside it, and Rina's Electric support lines up with Claret's attribute. Remember this is the Armorer shell, so it is the team that wants Astral Voice on Roxy rather than the Swing Jazz a generic build sheet hands you.
- Roxy + any Attack carry + Support. She is not locked to Claret. Any premium Attack DPS that wants a clean Stun window benefits from her, so she slots into existing single-target teams as a modern replacement for an older Stunner.
- Roxy + Wind or Aftershock flavored core + Support. Where her element and hit pattern line up with a damage archetype, lean into it. Match the Faction bonus or the damage type in the third seat to squeeze extra value out of the window she opens.
For where every Stunner and Support ranks around her, cross-reference the stun agent tier list and the full ZZZ tier list. Whatever shell you run, feed her a Bangboo that supports Daze or her Wind identity for the free Chain Attack value.
Mindscape Cinema: how far to go
M0 does the job. A Stunner is functional at zero Mindscapes because her role is binary: she opens the window or she does not, and M0 opens it. zzz-build.com flags M2 and M6 as her value spikes, which is the usual shape for a support-class Agent, but neither source publishes what those levels actually do, so that stays NEEDS_REVIEW and is not a reason to budget for them. Judge each tier against the Mindscape Cinema guide once her specifics are public.
Should you pull Roxy?
Pull Roxy if your account is thin on premium Stunners, if you are building the Claret Flint Workshop core, or if you simply value the seat that quietly decides most clears. A great Stunner ages well, because the role does not power-creep the way carries do: a window-opener from two patches ago still opens windows. Skip her if you already run Dialyn, Nangong Yu, or Qingyi and are happy, since a second premium Stunner is a luxury, not a fix.
Before her channel opens on September 30, grab the current ZZZ redeem codes for free Polychrome, read the 3.2 banner schedule for the full "should you pull" verdict on Roxy and Claret, and if you are still saving, work through the Polychrome and pull economy guide so you walk into her banner with a real reserve. Two things on this page are still open and will be settled the week her channel opens: which 4-piece wins, and the conversion rates on her Core Passive. Both are marked NEEDS_REVIEW above rather than filled in with a guess.
