Base Defenses
Defensive structures in Soulmask: towers, barriers, and traps that hold off raids.
- Towers
- Archer, Crossbow, Ballista
- Crewed
- Tribesman-operated
When the Fever bar peaks and a raid hits, your defensive buildings earn their keep. Ranged emplacements like the Archer Tower, Crossbow Tower, and Siege Ballista are crewed by assigned tribesmen rather than firing on their own, so a defended base needs a garrison. Layered barriers in wood, stone, and blackstone plus anti-climb thorns funnel attackers, and traps like groundspikes, sticky traps, and combustion cans punish them on the approach. A lit Bonfire also keeps your structures from decaying, so keeping it fueled is part of base upkeep.
