Ruined Tool

The Ruined Tool is a damaged ancient weapon that does nothing until it is repaired into a working Silkshot variant. Repairs are handled by specific NPCs, the Twelfth Architect in the Underworks, the Forge Daughter in the Deep Docks, or by self-repair at Mount Fay, and which one you choose shapes the final weapon. Note that Flick the Fixer, despite the name, does not repair tools. Finding and restoring Ruined Tools is a small treasure hunt that pays off in ranged firepower.
