ZZZ Remielle Build: Best W-Engine, Discs, and Teams

Remielle at a glance

Remielle Dan is a sub-DPS Anomaly agent with a completely new attribute type, Lumiflux, making her the first of her kind in Zenless Zone Zero. She launched on July 29, 2026 in Version 3.1 Phase 1, and her channel, Ode of Resurrected Wings, closed on September 8, so she is not currently pullable. Her playstyle is mobile and aggressive: zip in, tag enemies to build Anomaly energy, then detonate with a massive blast. Paired with her signature W-Engine she hands the whole squad a 30% damage bonus, which is what makes her one of the strongest supports in triple-Anomaly compositions. Her best W-Engine is Ode of Resurrected Wings and her best disc setup is four-piece Feathered Fate with a two-piece Freedom Blues. The stat answer is the one most likely to surprise you: build ATK% first, to roughly 4,000 ATK on the stat screen, and only then pile on Anomaly Proficiency.

Who Is Remielle Dan

Remielle is an S-Rank Anomaly sub-DPS and the original Lumiflux attribute agent in ZZZ. The Lumiflux attribute is new to the game in Version 3.1: through her kit she builds Lumen and triggers a distinct reaction type called Refringe.

One detail this page had slightly wrong until October 1: her faction is the Covenant of Dayat, not "Void Hunter". Void Hunter is a title rather than a faction, and hers is "Void Hunter: Temporal Lumiflux", one of the first seven ever awarded; in-game she is the Lieutenant Colonel of the Guard of Staves and carries the Void Hunter weapon Thaumiel. The distinction matters for team building, because faction passives key off the faction, and there is no Void Hunter faction bonus to chase.

Her role in a team is to operate off-field and on short rotations: enter, apply Anomaly stacks and Refringe triggers, and exit. Her damage is meaningful, but the 30% flat team damage bonus she provides through her Anomaly kit makes her even more valuable as a force multiplier for your carries.

Best W-Engine

Signature: Ode of Resurrected Wings

Her best-in-slot W-Engine, built around the Refringe reaction. Its Paradise Lost passive:

• Increases Anomaly Proficiency by 96
• On a Refringe trigger, the equipper gains 20% increased Anomaly DMG and every squad member gains 30% increased DMG dealt, both for 30 seconds, refreshed on repeat triggers

That squad-wide 30% is the number people quote when they call Remielle a force multiplier, and it is worth being precise about where it comes from: the W-Engine, not her base kit. Without Ode of Resurrected Wings you keep her damage and her Anomaly application, but not the team buff at full strength.

Alternatives: Weeping Gemini is the one to chase if you missed the signature. At S5 it is reported to beat other Agents' signature W-Engines on her, which makes it an unusually good outcome for an A-Rank, and it covers her Anomaly Proficiency without costing her the ATK she now turns out to want. Flamemaker Shaker, which this guide previously named as the best non-signature option, is a reasonable generic Anomaly W-Engine but is not what the published builds pick for her.

Best Drive Discs

This section said the opposite until October 1, 2026, and the correction is the useful part. It had Anomaly Proficiency as her only stat target and told readers not to swap slots 5 and 6 for ATK%. The published builds say the reverse: Game8 and zzz-build.com independently give ATK% on both disc 5 and disc 6, with Anomaly Proficiency on disc 4 only, and both put ATK% first in the substat order up to roughly 4,000 ATK on the stat screen.

The reason is her signature W-Engine. Ode of Resurrected Wings carries the largest ATK% main stat of any W-Engine in the game, and her Lumiflux damage scales off ATK as well as Proficiency, so ATK is not the trap it is on a pure off-field applier. The squad-wide 30% is flat and does not care about your stats, but her own damage does, and she has more of it than a buffer usually does.

Slot Main Stats:

Note on slot 6: the Energy Regen argument is not wrong about her rotation, it is wrong about the trade. She wants to cycle in often, but her energy problem is solvable with a battery or a W-Engine, while her damage ceiling is not solvable without ATK. Take Energy Regen only if you are genuinely dropping rotations with an ATK% disc on.

Substat priority:

1. ATK%, until the stat screen reads roughly 4,000 ATK
2. Anomaly Proficiency, flat, from there on
3. PEN

CRIT is not on this list, and that part of the old advice was right to be cautious about: Anomaly damage does not crit, so CRIT substats only pay on the fraction of her output that is direct damage.

Recommended Drive Disc Sets

Settled, and this paragraph used to say it was not. Run four-piece Feathered Fate with a two-piece Freedom Blues, which is what Game8 and zzz-build.com both give.

For the two-piece, Chaos Jazz, Astral Voice and Hormone Punk are the named alternatives if your Freedom Blues rolls are poor; the four-piece is the part that is not negotiable. The ZZZ gear guide covers what each set does.

Best Team Compositions

Remielle is designed for triple Anomaly team architectures, where every member of the team contributes Anomaly buildup or triggers.

Core Team: Velina, Remielle, Anomaly Carry

Velina is the confirmed and officially recommended partner for Remielle. Her role as an advance support unlocks Remielle's additional ability, which is required for the full kit to function. Do not run Remielle without Velina if you pulled her.

Alternative Anomaly Trio

If you do not own Velina, a triple Anomaly team with Remielle, Vivian, and Aria has been cited as a viable alternative. The core principle remains the same: everyone in the team contributes Anomaly pressure and Refringe triggers, and Remielle's 30% bonus amplifies the team's total Anomaly output.

Should You Pull Remielle Without Velina

Remielle without her confirmed synergy partner loses a meaningful portion of her output. If you want to run her at full strength, having Velina is strongly recommended. If you own neither, assess whether the triple Anomaly team archetype fits your existing roster before committing Polychrome.

Skill Priority

1. Core Passive (Additional Ability): Activate and maximize first, as it unlocks the 30% team bonus.
2. Special Attack (Refringe trigger): The main Anomaly application and burst tool.
3. Ultimate: Cycles her back into the field for another damage window.
4. Basic Attacks: Lower investment priority; she spends most of her time off-field.

If You Missed Her

Her only channel so far, "Ode of Resurrected Wings", ran July 29 to August 18, 2026, as Version 3.1 Phase 1, timed to ZZZ's second anniversary. Sigrid's "Till the Ends of the Sky" took Phase 2 from August 19 to September 8. Both are closed, and HoYoverse does not publish rerun schedules, so there is no date here to wait for.

That matters for how you use this page. Everything above is still the build you want when you do get her, and it is worth pre-farming Feathered Fate for, since the set is also used elsewhere. But do not read a build guide for the current rotation: the banner schedule is the page maintained against every phase flip, and the current ZZZ codes are where the Polychrome for the next one comes from.
