The Short Answer
Remielle Dan is a sub-DPS Anomaly agent with a completely new attribute type, Lumen, making her the first of her kind in Zenless Zone Zero. She launches on July 29, 2026 in Version 3.1 Phase 1. Her playstyle is mobile and aggressive: zip in, tag enemies to build Anomaly energy, then detonate with a massive blast. She injects a 30% flat team damage bonus that makes her one of the strongest supports in triple Anomaly team compositions. Her best W-Engine is Poem of the Empty Feather Return, and her Drive Discs should maximize Anomaly Proficiency above all else.
For Drive Disc and W-Engine fundamentals, see the ZZZ gear guide first.
Who Is Remielle Dan
Remielle is an S-Rank sub-DPS Void Hunter and the original Lumen attribute agent in ZZZ. The Lumen attribute is new to the game in Version 3.1: it enables a distinct reaction type called Mutation, which Remielle triggers through her kit. She is the first sub-DPS unit in the Void Hunter faction.
Her role in a team is to operate off-field and on short rotations: enter, apply Anomaly stacks and Mutation triggers, and exit. Her damage is meaningful, but the 30% flat team damage bonus she provides through her Anomaly kit makes her even more valuable as a force multiplier for your carries.
Best W-Engine
Signature: Poem of the Empty Feather Return
This is her best-in-slot W-Engine and is designed around her Mutation reaction. Its passive:
- Increases Anomaly Proficiency by 105 at base level
- When the equipped agent triggers a Mutation reaction, grants 1 stack of Attribute Anomaly DMG +14%, stacking up to 3 times and lasting 30 seconds
At 3 stacks, she deals 42% more Attribute Anomaly DMG, and Mutation recharges frequently through normal gameplay. This W-Engine solves her main damage stat need and amplifies her burst damage during the windows where stacks are maintained.
F2P and Alternative W-Engines: Details on the best non-signature options will be available closer to the 3.1 release date. For Anomaly agents generally, any W-Engine that prioritizes Anomaly Proficiency over flat ATK is the correct direction. Check the ZZZ tier list when 3.1 drops for updated recommendations.
Best Drive Discs
Remielle needs Anomaly Proficiency as her primary stat target across her disc setup. Her Mutation triggers scale directly off Proficiency, and her 30% team bonus is flat rather than percentage-based, so she does not need ATK% to deliver her support value.
Slot Main Stats:
| Slot | Main Stat | Notes |
| 1 | HP (flat) | Fixed |
| 2 | ATK (flat) | Fixed |
| 3 | DEF (flat) | Fixed |
| 4 | Anomaly Proficiency | Primary damage stat for her Mutation triggers |
| 5 | Ether DMG Bonus | Matches her attribute; do not swap for ATK% |
| 6 | Energy Regen | Lets her cycle rotations faster and maintain her support loop more consistently |
Note on Slot 6: Energy Regen on the sixth disc is strongly recommended over ATK% for Remielle. Her value in a team comes partly from how often she can cycle back in to reapply her buffs and apply Mutation stacks. Faster energy means more rotation cycles per fight.
Substat Priority:
- Anomaly Proficiency (flat)
- CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG if her personal damage matters in your team
- ATK% as filler
Recommended Drive Disc Sets
Specific set recommendations will solidify as player testing occurs after her July 29 release. Based on her kit, sets that provide flat Anomaly Proficiency bonuses or Anomaly DMG% bonuses are the correct direction. The ZZZ gear guide covers which current sets provide these stats so you can pre-farm the right domains.
Best Team Compositions
Remielle is designed for triple Anomaly team architectures, where every member of the team contributes Anomaly buildup or triggers.
Core Team: Velina, Remielle, Anomaly Carry
| Role | Character | Contribution |
| Advance Support | Velina | Officially confirmed synergy partner; provides Anomaly buffs and enables Remielle's additional ability |
| Sub-DPS and Buffer | Remielle | Applies Lumen Mutation, injects 30% team damage bonus |
| Main Anomaly DPS | Your Anomaly carry (Zhu Yuan, Vivian, Aria, or similar) | Primary damage dealer amplified by Remielle's buff |
Velina is the confirmed and officially recommended partner for Remielle. Her role as an advance support unlocks Remielle's additional ability, which is required for the full kit to function. Do not run Remielle without Velina if you pulled her.
Alternative Anomaly Trio
If you do not own Velina, a triple Anomaly team with Remielle, Vivian, and Aria has been cited as a viable alternative. The core principle remains the same: everyone in the team contributes Anomaly pressure and Mutation triggers, and Remielle's 30% bonus amplifies the team's total Anomaly output.
Should You Pull Remielle Without Velina
Remielle without her confirmed synergy partner loses a meaningful portion of her output. If you want to run her at full strength, having Velina is strongly recommended. If you own neither, assess whether the triple Anomaly team archetype fits your existing roster before committing Polychrome.
Skill Priority
- Core Passive (Additional Ability): Activate and maximize first, as it unlocks the 30% team bonus.
- Special Attack (Mutation Trigger): The main Anomaly application and burst tool.
- Ultimate: Cycles her back into the field for another damage window.
- Basic Attacks: Lower investment priority; she spends most of her time off-field.
Phase 1 Schedule
Version 3.1 launches July 29, 2026, which coincides with ZZZ's second anniversary. Remielle Dan's banner runs through Phase 1 (July 29 to August 18). Phase 2 starts August 19 and runs through September 8 with Sigrid, the Ice Attack Main DPS.
If you are planning to pull both Remielle and Sigrid, budget your Polychrome before July 29. Claim anniversary codes and active ZZZ codes to maximize your free currency.
Who Else to Pull in 3.1
Sigrid (Phase 2): A rhythm-based Ice Attack Main DPS who activates a Knight's Focus mechanic for 50% CRIT Rate on specific skill presses. More beginner-friendly than Remielle in terms of team flexibility. Check the ZZZ who to pull guide for a full comparison of both units and how they fit different account types.
Keep Building
Once Remielle is geared, she slips naturally into the Anomaly team archetype alongside units from the ZZZ tier list. For Shiyu Defense team composition strategy and floor advice, the Shiyu Defense guide covers the meta team setups she fits into.
