The difference between an account that quietly falls behind and one that always has the character it wants built is not skill. It is a fifteen-minute habit. Genshin's daily systems are generous if you touch them and punishing if you skip them, because resin overflows, commissions expire, and the Primogems you did not claim are simply gone at reset. This is the routine that captures all of it without turning your evening into a chore.
The daily checklist
Run it in roughly this order and you will never leave value on the table:
- Claim HoYoLAB daily check-in (free Primogems and materials, thirty seconds, done outside the game).
- Grab and complete your four Daily Commissions, then report to Katheryne for the bonus. This is your ~60 Primogems a day and a chunk of Adventure EXP and Mora.
- Spend your Original Resin on today's priority (see the priority list below).
- Redeem any new codes so free Primogems do not expire.
- Restart your four-hour and twenty-hour expeditions for passive ore and Mora.
- Claim Realm Currency from the teapot and reset any crafting or forging (talent books, ore refinement, condensed resin).
- Water the Sacred Sakura / claim gardening if you use those, and check the Battle Pass for anything cheap to knock out.

Resin is the real daily decision
Everything else on the list takes seconds. Resin is where the thinking happens, because it is the one resource you can waste. Original Resin caps at 200 and regenerates one point every eight minutes, so a full bar takes a bit over a day to refill and overflow is pure loss. Log in before it caps, or use Condensed Resin to bank domain runs when you know you will miss a day.
Spend it in this priority, top down, on whatever your account needs most right now:
- Weekly bosses first, early in the week. The three Trounce Domain bosses give a resin discount on their first three clears each week (they cost less resin than normal). Do them early so a busy weekend does not cost you the discount. These drop the talent materials that gate your damage.
- Talent and ascension materials for the character you are actively building. A half-built carry is the most common reason an account feels weak. The ascension and talent priority guide sequences this so you finish characters instead of spreading thin.
- Artifact domains, once your characters are leveled. This is the endless endgame sink. Do not start here on a young account; do start here once your key characters are capped. Pair it with the artifact guide so you know which domain and which stats you are farming for.

The weekly layer
Some of the best value only refreshes on Monday's reset, and it is easy to forget because it does not nag you daily:
- Reset the three weekly boss discounts and clear them (covered above, but worth repeating because it is the highest-value weekly action).
- Reputation weeklies in each region: bounties, requests, and hunts hand out Primogems, Mora, and region-specific rewards, and they feed reputation levels that unlock quality-of-life perks and wind gliders.
- Battle Pass weeklies if you run the pass, which are usually just "spend resin" and "complete commissions" that your daily routine already covers.

The teapot: passive income you set once
The Serenitea Pot is the most underused daily source on many accounts. Furnish it, raise its Trust rank, and it pays out Realm Currency you spend on furnishings and a steady trickle of rewards, plus companionship for characters you park inside it. A realistic time budget
You do not need to do everything every day. Here is what happens if time is tight:

The non-negotiables are the commissions (your Primogem income) and spending resin before it caps (your only wastable resource). Everything else is upside.
Turning the routine into progress
A daily loop is a means, not an end. The point of all this Mora, EXP, and resin is to finish characters and clear content you could not before. Once your materials are flowing, put them behind a real plan: the team building guide so you are leveling characters that work together, and the tier list so you invest in units that hold up. When a banner approaches, check the current wishes and grab the latest codes before they expire.
Fifteen minutes, in the right order, is the whole trick. The players whose accounts always seem ready for the next banner are not grinding harder than you. They just never skip the loop.
