Soul Shards are endgame relics dropped by the Shardbearer bosses, the toughest V Bloods like Solarus, Megara, Cassius, and Dracula. Placed in your castle, a shard grants a strong passive buff, but on PvP servers it also marks you as a target, since others can raid it. Shards tie into the Dracula's Battlegear endgame and the road to the final fight. They are the clearest sign you have reached V Rising's top tier.
