The Ender Dragon is the closest thing Minecraft has to a final boss, waiting in the End. You reach it by filling a stronghold's End Portal with Eyes of Ender.
How to Beat It
First destroy the End Crystals on top of the obsidian pillars, since they heal the dragon. A bow handles the high ones; for caged crystals, climb or use blocks. With the crystals gone, hit the dragon's head when it perches at the center. Bring a bow, good armor, and plenty of food.
