Blazes are floating fire mobs found in Nether Fortresses, where they shoot bursts of fireballs. They are central to progression because of what they drop.
How to Handle It
Snowballs and a bow work well from range, and fire resistance potions make the fight trivial. Their Blaze Rods craft into Blaze Powder, which fuels your brewing stand and combines with Ender Pearls to make Eyes of Ender.
