Read Narcissus's healing numbers in isolation and she looks ordinary. A 160% mass heal, 10% Healing Done from Insight II, nothing you have not seen before in Reverse: 1999.
Read the rest of her sheet and a different unit appears. While she is on the field, your team's Ultimates stop counting against the Incantation Draw Limit, everybody takes 30% less damage, Moxie you would have overflowed gets banked instead of wasted, and every Ultimate that goes off lands with up to 60% more Critical DMG behind it. The heal is the delivery mechanism. The product is Ultimates.
She is the back half of Version 3.9, which CN ran from August 13 and whose Phase 2 is reported to have opened on September 3. On Global, Phase 1 and its Hedone banner project to November 5 and Phase 2 is not dated at all, so this page is here early on purpose: nothing about her is a leak, and everything below is read off the kit that has been playable in China for two months.
The sheet
6-star, Beast Afflatus, Mental damage, tagged Heal, Ultimate and Support. Base ATK 259, HP 1567, Reality and Mental DEF 120 each, Critical Technique 300. Being Beast, she loses to Mineral and beats Plant on the Afflatus wheel, which is worth noting given the unit she shares a version with is Mineral.
That ATK figure matters more than it usually does on a healer, because her heal, her Ripple generation and her damage-over-time all read off it.
Ripple is a shield that healing pays for
Her Precognition, Narcissus Inflorescence, does two things at once. Every time she heals anyone, that target also gains Ripple equal to 20% of the heal, capped at 150% of her ATK as measured on entering battle. And any ally holding Ripple who releases an Ultimate attack gets +20% Critical Rate and +60% Critical DMG on it.
Ripple itself is a clean piece of design. If the holder is about to take damage smaller than their Ripple value, the damage is negated outright. If it is equal or larger, the hit is reduced by 40% and the Ripple is spent. So a topped-up team is simultaneously shielded against chip damage and loaded with crit, and both come from the same action.
That coupling is the reason she is not interchangeable with other sustain. Everecho heals. Narcissus heals and, in the same cast, raises the ceiling of the next three Ultimates your team fires.
Zero-Proof Revelry, and the number that grows
Her Odyssean Quest is a self-buff that puts her into Zero-Proof Revelry for 3 rounds. It is a Force Field, so it covers the whole team: Ultimate Might +40% flat, then +2% for every point of Moxie the team spends on Ultimates, counting up to 20 points.
Twenty points of Moxie is a realistic round of play for a team that is actually using its Ultimates, which puts the practical ceiling at +80% Ultimate Might. Re-applying the buff extends the duration but resets that accumulated count, which is a real decision rather than a formality: refreshing early throws away the stack you built.
While she is in Zero-Proof Revelry, Insight I also makes the team immune to Control up to four times per round, and her mass heal picks up a dispel, clearing one Negative Status and one Stats Down from everybody.
Oracle's Riddle hands her turns she did not pay for
This is the piece most of the CN discussion settled on, and it is the hardest part of her kit to value from a text description.
At the end of her round while in Zero-Proof Revelry, she gains 2 stacks of Oracle's Riddle. Then:
- Whenever an ally is attacked, she spends a stack to cast Rank 1 Go Go Daffodil, her mass heal.
- If any stacks survive to the end of the enemy's round, she spends one to cast Rank 1 Fists and Fins, and that cast additionally applies 2 stacks of Tidal Tempo to every enemy.
Both are treated as Ultimates and both are extra actions. They do not come out of your card draws, they do not cost AP, and because they count as Ultimates they feed the Moxie-consumption counter that is inflating Zero-Proof Revelry. The loop pays for itself.
Insight I adds one more layer on top: after any ally releases an Ultimate, she heals the whole team for Moxie consumed by that Ultimate times her ATK times 20%, treating a zero-Moxie Ultimate as 1 point, and that heal cannot crit. In a team firing Ultimates on cadence, she is healing on other people's turns.
Her three cards
Her Odyssean Quest. Self-buff only. Enters Zero-Proof Revelry for 3 rounds.
Fists and Fins. Single-target, 200% Mental DMG, applies 2 stacks of Tidal Tempo for 2 rounds. Cast it manually and it also applies Passion Drain, which hands the next attacker +1 Moxie. Tidal Tempo is her damage-over-time: it recalculates each round off the Moxie that Narcissus and her allies spend on Ultimates, and ticks at the end of the round for a share of her ATK per stack, benefiting from her Ultimate Might and able to crit.
Go Go Daffodil. Mass heal for 160% of her ATK, adding Ripple worth 20% of the amount healed, plus the dispel while she is in Zero-Proof Revelry.
Insight III is where her support identity finishes: +4 Moxie on entry, team Ultimates exempt from the Incantation Draw Limit, DMG Taken Reduction +30% for everyone, and overflow Moxie temporarily stored and handed back at the end of the round, up to 5 per character. If you have read our Moxie and Ultimate guide, she breaks most of the constraints that page is about.
Portrays, in order of what they are worth
| Portray | What changes |
|---|---|
| P1 | Zero-Proof Revelry lasts 4 rounds, base Ultimate Might to 40%, per-Moxie bonus to 2%; entry Moxie to 5 |
| P2 | Ripple holders get 30% Crit Rate / 80% Crit DMG on Ultimates; the post-Ultimate team heal rises to 30% of ATK per Moxie |
| P3 | Ripple added per heal rises to 30%, cap to 200% of ATK, and Ripple's damage reduction rises to 40% |
| P4 | Tidal Tempo's per-stack damage rises to 22.5% of her ATK; Go Go Daffodil's heal rises to 200% / 250% / 450% by rank |
| P5 | Zero-Proof Revelry base Ultimate Might to 50% and 2.5% per Moxie; Ripple holders reach 40% Crit Rate / 100% Crit DMG |
The shape here is unusual. P2 and P5 both buy raw team damage through the crit line, and on a support that is the thing that scales with every carry you own rather than with her. P4 is the only one that is mostly about her own numbers, and it is the one to care least about. If you are rationing Unilogs, the rule of thumb is that copies of Narcissus are worth more than copies of a damage dealer of equal rarity, which is the opposite of the usual advice.
Who she is actually for
Teams that fire Ultimates. That sounds like every team until you look at your own board and count how many of your carries have an Ultimate worth building the round around. If your damage comes out of basic incantations and card merges, most of her kit is switched off and she is a 160% heal with a shield attached.
If your damage does come from Ultimates, she is a different class of pickup from the usual sustain slot: a unit who raises Ultimate Might, crit, survivability and card economy at the same time, from a slot you were already spending on a healer. Check how your current board is built on the team archetype tier list before deciding.
When you will actually be able to pull her
Not soon, and that is the useful part of this page. Phase 1 projects to November 5 and Phase 2 follows three weeks later on the standard version structure, which puts her around late November if nothing stretches. Nobody has published a date, and we are not inventing one. The current live state is always on the banner schedule.
What that runway is good for is saving. Two 6-stars in one version is the pattern 3.8 just ran with Everecho and Cornerstone, and most accounts could not afford both. If Narcissus is the one you want, the decision to make now is the one about Phase 1, not the one about her.
Verification: skills, Insight passives, status effects and Portray values above are read from the datamined CN build of Version 3.9, live in China since August 13, 2026. Her CN Phase 2 opening of September 3 is reported by schedule trackers rather than announced, and no Global date for Phase 2 exists; both are marked NEEDS_REVIEW. Tidal Tempo's base per-stack multiplier is not confirmed, so only the Portray 4 value is given as a number. Psychube and team-composition recommendations are deliberately omitted until the Global skill text ships. Cover image: official Reverse: 1999 store screenshot from Bluepoch.
