Honkai: Star Rail Remembrance Path Team Tier List: Ranking the Memosprite Cores

Remembrance is the only Honkai: Star Rail path with no fixed job. Its units fight through memosprites, second bodies with their own turns, and that one mechanic makes Remembrance a DPS, a healer, and a buffer path all at once. This tier list ranks the Remembrance characters and the teams they anchor, from the HP-drain carries to Hyacine's reactive sustain.

Honkai: Star Rail Remembrance Path Team Tier List: Ranking the Memosprite Cores
Table of Contents

Ask what a Remembrance character does and you will not get a straight answer, because the path was built without one. Every other path in Honkai: Star Rail hands you a job on sight: Abundance heals, Harmony buffs, Destruction and the Hunt carry. Remembrance refuses. Its units can be main carries, dedicated healers, or pure supports, and the only thing they share is the mechanic that makes the whole path tick: the memosprite.

A memosprite is a second body. When a Remembrance unit summons one, it enters combat as a semi-independent ally with its own stats and, crucially, its own place in the action order. It takes turns. It can be buffed and, on some designs, hit. That single design choice is why "Remembrance team" is not one archetype but several, and why ranking the path means ranking it by role rather than by tier alone. This is the endgame-facing read; for how the path works underneath, start with the paths explainer, and for the current patch meta the 4.5 tier list and 4.5 best teams sit alongside this.

Why a memosprite changes the math

Before the rankings, understand the one thing that makes these units different to build and to slot.

A memosprite is extra actions on the field. Your Remembrance unit acts, and then, separately, its summon acts. That is more hits, more heal ticks, or more buff applications than a single character slot should produce, which is the hidden reason Remembrance units punch above a normal seat. It also means their stats matter twice: the summon usually scales off the summoner, so investing in the parent unit quietly powers a second body you do not see on the character screen.

It also reshapes team building. A Remembrance carry brings its own damage source built in, so it asks less of the fourth slot than a lone hypercarry does. A Remembrance healer like Hyacine heals through its memosprite, which is why her sustain reacts to incoming damage instead of waiting for her turn. Read every ranking below through that lens: the summon is half the character.

The tier list, by role

Remembrance spans three jobs, so it gets three ladders. A unit's place is read against the endgame modes, Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow, not against a single dummy.

As a main DPS

  • S tier: the HP-drain flagships. Castorice is the archetype's poster child, a Quantum carry who pays her own HP to fuel her resource and detonates it through a devastating memosprite. Because she spends health as ammunition, she wants a sustain that refills it faster than she burns it, which is a whole team identity in itself. Evernight sits in the same S bracket: another HP-scaling drain carry whose damage climbs as the health bar falls. Both are top-end clear anchors when paired with the right healer.
  • S/A tier: the CRIT summoner carry. Aglaea is a Lightning Remembrance main DPS who fights alongside her memosprite Garmentmaker, and unlike the HP-drain carries she is a straightforward CRIT-scaling damage dealer. She rewards clean CRIT ratios and Speed tuning rather than a health-payment loop, which makes her the more beginner-friendly Remembrance carry to build even as she competes at the top for raw single-target and burst.

The split matters for your account: the HP-drain carries demand a specific sustain shell to feel safe, while the CRIT summoner slots into more conventional support lines. Own one healer built for drain teams and the flagships open up; if you do not, the CRIT carry is the safer investment.

As sustain

  • S tier: reactive Remembrance healing. Hyacine is the standout, a Wind Remembrance healer whose memosprite, Little Ica, throws out healing the instant your team takes damage rather than on her own turn. She scales healing off Speed past 200, inflates the team's Max HP with her Ultimate, and was built specifically for the HP-drain carries above, refilling the health they spend while raising the ceiling they spend it from. She is close to the safest value pull in her patch because a great healer works in every team for years, and a reactive one keeps fragile teams alive through hits that would otherwise delete them.

Hyacine is the clearest example of why the path is so strong: her healing comes off a memosprite, so it happens outside her turn, which means she sustains harder than a single slot should while barely taxing the team's tempo.

As support and utility

  • A tier: free, flexible, and everywhere. The Remembrance Trailblazer is the path's on-ramp, a free unit whose memosprite, Mem, layers utility and buffs onto the team. It is not a meta-defining carry, but it is a genuinely useful support that every account owns, and it is the cleanest way to learn how memosprites behave before you invest in a limited one.
  • A tier: the alternate buffer. Robin Summeretto, the summer Remembrance form of Robin, reshuffles the buffer slot: a damage-amplifying support that covers the same seat as the classic Concerto buffer without needing both. A flavor-forward pull more than an account-definer, but a real, slottable buffer for follow-up and hypercarry shells.

The teams worth building

Remembrance rewards pairing its own units together, but the real power shows when a memosprite core plugs into an established shell.

  • Castorice (or Evernight) + Hyacine + amplifier + flex. The flagship HP-drain team, and the reason both units exist in the same meta. The drain carry spends health for enormous damage, Hyacine refills it reactively and raises the Max HP she is drawing from, and an amplifier plus a flex seat round it out. This is the shell that makes an HP-payment carry safe to pilot, which is the whole barrier to using one.
  • Aglaea + Harmony buffer + healer. The CRIT summoner in a conventional line. She does not need the HP-drain scaffolding, so she takes a standard amplifier and any solid sustain, which makes her the Remembrance carry most rosters can field today without a bespoke healer.
  • Any hypercarry + Robin Summeretto + Hyacine + sustain-or-amp. Remembrance as the support backbone of a non-Remembrance team. The buffer amplifies a carry you already own, Hyacine keeps a squishy line standing, and the memosprite actions quietly add value on top. This is how the path helps an account that has not pulled a Remembrance carry at all.
  • Remembrance Trailblazer + your best existing core. The free option. Slot the Trailblazer into a team that wants extra utility and learn the memosprite rhythm at zero cost before committing pulls to a limited Remembrance unit.

For where these units land against the rest of the roster, cross-reference the full HSR tier list and the sustain tier list; for the modes they are being ranked against, the Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow tier lists show which shell each Remembrance core clears fastest.

What to prioritize

If you are choosing where to spend, read your roster's gaps against the path's three jobs:

  1. Weak on sustain? Pull the healer. Hyacine is the safest Remembrance value because sustain is the seat most accounts are thinnest at, and a reactive healer works in nearly every team for years. Build her for Speed past 200 and she is done.
  2. Want a top-end carry and own a drain healer? Pull the HP-drain flagship. Castorice or Evernight only feel safe with the right sustain behind them, so pull them after you have that seat covered, not before.
  3. Want a carry with no bespoke support tax? Pull the CRIT summoner. Aglaea slots into conventional lines and is the lowest-friction Remembrance carry to field.
  4. Just starting the path? Run the free Trailblazer. Learn how memosprites take turns and get buffed before you spend anything, then invest where your account actually has a hole.

Remembrance is not one archetype you either have or lack. It is a toolkit that can fill your damage seat, your sustain seat, or your buffer seat, and the memosprite is the reason each of those hits harder than a single character slot should. Read your gaps, pick the job you are missing, and let the second body do the extra work.
