Honkai: Star Rail Hyacine Build Guide: The Speed-Scaling Wind Healer Who Refuses to Let Anyone Die

Hyacine is a Remembrance healer whose healing scales with Speed, which is why her build looks nothing like a normal sustain. This guide covers her kit and the Little Ica memosprite, the 200 Speed breakpoint that turns her healing on, her best Light Cones, relics, stat priority, trace and Eidolon order, and the HP-drain teams she was made for.

Table of Contents

Build Hyacine for one number before you worry about anything else: Speed. She is a Wind Remembrance healer whose entire kit is bolted to how fast she moves, and once you internalize that, every other decision on her build sheet falls into place. Skip the number and you will end up with an expensive character who heals like a four-star. Hit it and you get a sustain that keeps a fragile HP-draining team alive through content that would delete them, while barely giving up a party slot.

If you pulled her off the 4.5 summer patch and you are staring at her trace tree wondering why a healer cares about Speed at all, this is the guide. For where she lands against the rest of the roster, the HSR tier list has the ranking; this page is about turning the character you own into the character the tier list is describing.

What Hyacine actually does

Hyacine heals through a memosprite. Her Skill, Love Over the Rainbow, is the direct heal, but the real engine is Little Ica, the little summon that flies out and, via Take Sky in Hand, throws out immediate healing right after your team takes damage. That is the part that matters: Little Ica reacts to incoming hits, so Hyacine is less a "top up the bars on my turn" healer and more a safety net that catches damage as it lands. Teams that would lose a unit to a big unblocked hit simply do not, because Little Ica answers the hit on the spot.

Her Ultimate, We Who Fly Into Twilight, layers a team-wide buff on top of the healing. It grants an "After Rain" state that pushes everyone's Max HP up (a percentage bump plus a flat chunk) and sharpens the memosprite's healing while it is active. Because so much of the game's newest damage scales off Max HP, that Max HP buff is quietly a damage buff for the right carries, not just a bigger health bar.

The short version: she heals reactively, she inflates the whole team's HP pool, and she does both harder the faster she is.

The 200 Speed rule, and why it is the whole build

Here is the mechanic that reorganizes everything. One of Hyacine's ascension traces converts Speed above 200 into extra Outgoing Healing, roughly one percent of bonus healing per point of Speed over that line, up to a large cap. In plain terms:

  • Under 200 Speed: she heals like a normal, slightly underwhelming Remembrance unit.
  • At 200+ Speed: the conversion switches on and her healing starts climbing fast.
  • Well past 200: she overheals so hard that the extra output turns into a buffer against burst, which is exactly what her fragile teammates want.

So Speed is not a comfort stat on Hyacine the way it is on most healers. It is her healing multiplier. You chase it from every source at once: her Light Cone, her boots, her Speed relic set, and Speed substats, all stacked toward blowing past that 200 line and then some. If you have tuned Speed breakpoints on other units, the instinct is the same here, just turned up to the point where more Speed is almost never wasted.

Light Cones, ranked

Best: her signature, Long May Rainbows Adorn the Sky. Built for her, full stop. It leans into the Little Ica loop, drains a sliver of ally HP to feed the memosprite, and opens up extra enemy damage taken when Ica acts. If you have it, run it. It gives Speed, it powers her healing, and it turns her from pure sustain into a light damage amplifier.

Best free option: Memories of the Past or any Remembrance cone that hands out Speed and Energy. You are not chasing a fancy passive here, you are chasing the Speed line and enough Energy to keep her Ultimate flowing. A four-star Speed cone that lets her clear 200 comfortably does more for her than a flashier one that does not.

Also fine: Speed-and-survival battle-pass cones. Anything that stacks Speed and keeps her Ultimate uptime high slots in. The ranking on Hyacine is almost entirely "how much Speed and Energy does this give me," because her own kit supplies the healing scaling. Judge cones on the boring stats, not the passive.

Relics, planar sets, and stat priority

Relic set: the Speed-focused four-piece is the default. Warrior Goddess of Sun and Thunder is the natural home: it gives her Speed and, at high Speed, hands CRIT damage to the team, so it feeds her own healing scaling and buffs the carry at the same time. If you are building her purely to keep an HP-scaling unit alive and want to lean into that Max HP synergy, an HP-and-team-damage set like World-Remaking Deliverer is a legitimate alternative. Default to the Speed set unless your team specifically wants the HP route.

Planar ornament: Giant Tree of Rapt Brooding for its Speed and the healing it unlocks once you clear its Speed threshold. If you have not farmed it, the classic Energy-and-Speed planar (Sprightly Vonwacq territory) keeps her Ultimate online while you transition.

Main stats:

  • Body: Outgoing Healing, or HP% if her healing is already comfortably clearing your content.
  • Feet: Speed. Not negotiable. This is the single biggest lever on the 200 breakpoint.
  • Sphere: HP%. Her heals and her Ultimate's HP buff both care about her own Max HP.
  • Rope: Speed if you still need the breakpoint, Energy Regeneration once Speed is handled and Ultimate uptime is your bottleneck.

Substats, in order: Speed, then HP%, then Energy Regeneration to taste, with a little CRIT damage only if you are running her signature and want the amp to hit harder. Roll Speed until you have overshot 200 with room to spare, because on Hyacine the point after the breakpoint is still doing work.

Traces and Eidolons

Trace priority: memosprite Talent first, since that is where Little Ica's healing lives, then Skill, then Ultimate. Level the ascension traces as soon as you can afford them: the Speed-to-healing conversion is the reason you built her, so unlocking it is not optional. Use the trace leveling priority guide framework, just weighted toward the memosprite line.

Eidolons: she is complete at E0. That said, her early Eidolons are unusually team-friendly. E2 pushes team Speed, which is a real combat upgrade for everyone, not just her, and the late Eidolons start adding party-wide damage. If you love her and have the pulls, E1 and E2 are among the better healer Eidolon values in the game. If you do not, do not sweat it; a well-built E0 Hyacine already does her whole job. For the general math on when duplicates are worth it, the Eidolons breakdown still applies.

The teams she was built for

Hyacine's design points straight at the HP-hungry Remembrance carries, because a healer who inflates Max HP and refills it reactively is exactly what a unit that spends its own health wants.

  • Castorice teams. Castorice pays HP to generate her resource, and Hyacine both raises the ceiling she is spending from and refills it without missing a beat. This is the flagship pairing: the healer removes the one thing that makes an HP-drain carry scary to pilot.
  • Evernight teams. Same logic. Evernight scales on HP and drains it for higher multipliers, and Hyacine is the sustain that makes that loop safe. She stacks resources rather than Energy for these carries, which is precisely what they want.
  • Any fragile hypercarry. Because Little Ica catches burst reactively, Hyacine is a strong general-purpose healer even outside the HP-scaling shells. Drop her into a squishy team in Pure Fiction or Apocalyptic Shadow and the deaths stop.

Because she is a healer, she is not competing for the buffer slot, so she fits nearly any comp that wants a pure sustain over a shield. If you are deciding whether she was worth the pull in the first place, cross-check the 4.5 banner verdicts and the current redeem codes for the Stellar Jade to finish her traces.

The one-line build

Speed relic set, Speed boots, HP sphere, her signature or any Speed-and-Energy cone, and Speed substats until you have blown past 200 with margin. Level the memosprite Talent and the ascension traces first. Then hand her to Castorice or your squishiest carry and watch the death screen stop showing up. Everything else on her sheet is a rounding error next to that one number.
