General Berserker is the named O.R.C. Cockroach Queen on Level 03 of the Network Center, and it is not skippable: killing it is required to progress. It has 1,950 health, no weakness to any damage type, and a long list of resistances, which makes it the one story fight in Grounded 2 where picking the clever element actively costs you.

Start with the thing that explains why other guides disagree about its health. There are three roach queens in this game and only one of them is this fight:

CreatureWhereHealth
General Berserker (named)Network Center, Level 031,950
O.R.C. Cockroach Queen (unnamed)Hardest level of the Garden O.R.C. Waves1,650 on Normal
Cockroach QueenFire Pit caves, Toxic AnthillOrdinary creature, not a boss

If you have seen 1,650 quoted for the Network Center fight, that figure belongs to the unnamed O.R.C. version. And the plain Cockroach Queen in the Fire Pit caves is a different creature altogether, not a weaker copy of this one.

What it resists, exactly

There is no weak point to aim for, so the whole plan is avoiding what it eats. Off its own stat block:

TypeEffect
Fresh-50% damage
Spicy-50% damage
Venom-50% damage, -75% buildup
Chill-50% buildup
SizzleBuildup negated
WoozyBuildup negated
GasHazard immune

That leaves raw physical damage as the answer, and it is the one most fight guides land on too. Leave the elemental weapon at home: both elements it cares about are halved, and the two buildup effects you would normally stack are ignored outright.

Two quirks worth knowing before you build an arena around it. It has no weakness to Acorn Turrets, and unlike most O.R.C. creatures it does not take bonus damage against base structures, so funnelling it into your own walls, which works on the rest of the O.R.C. roster, does nothing here.

The fight itself

The stun threshold is 90 with a 20 second stun cooldown, so a heavy stagger weapon buys repeated windows rather than one opener. Its acid spray cannot be blocked, which makes spacing the only counter, and Fresh Defense reduces what does land. Emptying the health bar does not end it: the head comes off and the room floods with acid, so break away at the transition instead of reaching for one more hit. In the later stage it also moves fast enough to leave a short weapon swinging at nothing, which is the argument for bringing a spear.

Drops

Roach Chunk4100%
Roach Head1100%
Roach Milk2100%, with a further roll at 50%
Roach Rage1100%
Everlasting Hogstopper13%

Roach Rage is exclusive to the named version: the unnamed O.R.C. Cockroach Queen's table does not carry it. Do not plan on farming the 3% Hogstopper here either, because Level 03 is this creature's only spawn in the Network Center.

Health, resistances, the stun values and the drop table were read off the Grounded Wiki's O.R.C. Cockroach Queen page on 2026-10-07. The handling notes under "The fight itself" come from published fight guides rather than that stat block, so they are advice rather than data. See the full boss list for the other eight, and damage types for what physical actually means here.
