Grounded 2 Wiki
57 pagesGrounded 2 is Obsidian Entertainment's survival crafting sequel, and it doubles down on the idea that made the first game a hit: you are shrunk to the size of an ant and have to survive a world where every blade of grass is a tree and every bug is a monster. This time the setting is the sprawling Brookhollow Park, and the headline addition is BUGZ, rideable insect mounts that change how you cross and fight through the world. This wiki tracks its creatures, gear, zones, and systems as Early Access grows.
How Grounded 2 Plays
The loop is classic survival crafting at bug scale: scavenge, craft, build, survive, go deeper. You gather materials from the oversized park, craft weapons, armor, and tools, build and defend a base, and push into more dangerous areas as you tech up. Managing hunger, thirst, and stamina while reading each bug's behavior is the core challenge, and co-op for up to four players makes the park far more survivable.
Creatures and Bosses
The park is alive with bugs, from skittering pests to apex predators and the occasional boss that demands real preparation. Knowing which creatures are aggressive, what they are weak to, and where they lurk is the difference between a smooth run and a quick death, and our creature pages break each one down.
BUGZ and Mounts
The defining new feature is BUGZ: tameable, rideable insects. A mount turns the park's punishing distances into something manageable and brings a new ally into combat, so working toward your first mount is one of the early goals worth chasing.
Gear, Building, and Progression
You climb through tiers of weapons, armor, and tools crafted from what the park gives up, and build bases as forward camps and strongholds. Research and crafting unlock better equipment as you survive harder zones, the steady sense of progression that keeps a survival game going.
A Note on Early Access
Grounded 2 is actively in development, so creatures, zones, gear, and story beats are still being added. We keep this wiki to what is confirmed in the current build and update it as each patch lands, rather than repeating leaks or roadmap items.
