The Short Answer

Sandrone is an on-field Cryo Claymore main DPS whose damage lives almost entirely in her Charged Attack. Build her around CRIT Damage and Cryo DMG Bonus, run the new Superconduct-focused 4-piece artifact set, and pair her with an Electro unit to trigger her signature Stellar-Conduct reaction. Her best weapon is her signature claymore, A Teaspoon of Transcendence, but any high-CRIT Claymore with strong substats works while you save for it.

New to the patch? Start with the Version 6.7 rundown for the full banner schedule, then come back here for her build specifics.

Who Is Sandrone

Sandrone is a 5-star Cryo Claymore user and the first playable character from Snezhnaya, debuting in Version 6.7. She controls her claymore through invisible threads rather than swinging it directly, and her entire kit is structured around staying on-field and repeatedly landing her Charged Attack.

Her Normal Attack, Formule Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition, is a 3-hit combo, but it exists mostly to set up the real damage source: her Charged Attack, Decoding Mode. Like Neuvillette, she channels continuous Cryo damage while charging, and filling her Decoding Power bar triggers Power Overdrive, a short window where she deals extended-range Cryo damage at longer intervals for even bigger numbers.

Her Elemental Skill, Differential Analysis, puts her on a tactical hover device for 6 seconds with free directional movement, and holding sprint burns stamina (10 to activate, 15 per second sustained) for a faster mobility mode useful for closing distance or repositioning between Charged Attack windows. Her Elemental Burst, Q.E.D., summons a wave of Prismatic Resonance Cannons for a bombardment, then finishes with a direct Convective Inhibition Ray beam for AoE Cryo damage.

The Stellar-Conduct Reaction

Sandrone introduces Stellar-Conduct, a new Cryo-tied reaction that makes her the first character purpose-built around it. In practice, this means she wants Electro teammates to trigger Superconduct, and her signature artifact set converts that Superconduct uptime directly into extra personal damage. This is the single biggest thing to understand before building her: she is not a generic Cryo carry, she is a Superconduct specialist.

Best Weapon

Signature: A Teaspoon of Transcendence

This Claymore is currently the only weapon with a passive tuned specifically to Stellar-Conduct, and it happens to be Sandrone's best-in-slot. It provides substantial CRIT DMG and ATK, and directly boosts her Stellar-Conduct damage output on top of those base stats.

F2P Alternative: Until more Stellar-Conduct weapons release, any high base ATK Claymore with strong CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG substats is a reasonable placeholder. Prioritize CRIT stats over flat ATK when choosing between options, since her damage scales heavily off her CRIT ratio during Power Overdrive windows.

Best Artifacts

Artifact Set: The 4-piece Superconduct-focused set is Sandrone's clear best-in-slot and is not a close competition. Its 4-piece bonus increases Superconduct reaction damage by 80%, and when the equipped character attacks a Superconducted enemy, that attack's CRIT Rate increases by 16%. Both effects plug directly into her kit: more Superconduct damage, and a free CRIT Rate boost on the exact enemies she is built to fight.

Main Stat Priority:

PieceMain StatNotes
FlowerHPFixed
FeatherATKFixed
SandsATK%Standard choice for a Claymore main DPS
GobletCryo DMG BonusBoosts her elemental damage across every source
CircletCRIT Rate or CRIT DMGWhichever brings her closer to a roughly 1:2 CRIT ratio

Substat Priority: CRIT Rate and CRIT DMG first, toward a 1:2 ratio, then ATK%, then Energy Recharge only if her Elemental Burst is consistently starved between rotations.

Talent Priority

Normal Attack > Elemental Burst > Elemental Skill

Most of Sandrone's damage comes from her Charged Attack, which scales off her Normal Attack talent, so level that first and hardest. Her Elemental Burst deals significant AoE damage and should be leveled next. Her Elemental Skill contributes the least to her damage output and mainly exists for mobility, so it can lag behind without hurting her ceiling much.

Best Teams

Core Stellar-Conduct Team: Sandrone (main DPS) + an Electro support who can apply Electro reliably off-field, such as a battery-focused Electro unit + a flexible healer or shielder. The Electro application triggers Superconduct on her targets, which her artifact set then converts into extra CRIT Rate and reaction damage.

Citlali Pairing: Because Citlali reruns in the same Phase 1 banner as Sandrone, a dual-Cryo shell with Citlali providing off-field Cryo application and healing is a natural, easy-to-pull-together team if you grab both characters this patch.

Budget Option: Any reliable off-field Electro applicator plus a generic healer keeps her core loop functional while you build toward a more optimized Superconduct-focused support lineup as more Stellar-Conduct-adjacent characters release.

FAQ

Is Sandrone worth pulling? If you want a new on-field Cryo main DPS with a charged-attack playstyle similar to Neuvillette and do not already have a Cryo carry you love, yes. She is also the debut character for an entirely new reaction type, which tends to age well as more supporting kits release around it.

Do I need her signature weapon? It is the strongest option since it is the only weapon tuned to Stellar-Conduct so far, but a high-CRIT F2P Claymore keeps her functional until you pull it or a comparable option releases.

Can I use her without an Electro teammate? You can, but you lose the entire point of her kit. Without Superconduct uptime, she plays like a weaker generic Cryo Claymore DPS and her artifact set's main bonus goes unused.
